ToolBexa, Adobe Acrobat, Smallpdf and iLovePDF: choose a PDF workflow
A neutral checklist for comparing online PDF tools by task, processing, limits and the result you need.

Compare the workflow rather than just the brand name
People searching for an online PDF merger often encounter Adobe Acrobat, Smallpdf, iLovePDF and ToolBexa. Their product names do not by themselves tell you whether a particular workflow fits your document. Begin with the exact operation, the sensitivity of the file and the output you need.
This is a practical selection checklist, not a claim that these products have identical features or plans. Their limits and account requirements can change. Check the linked official product pages before deciding what to use.
Ask what you need to change
Merging combines pages from different files. Splitting extracts a selected subset. Compression targets file size, while encryption changes the password requirement. A good interface should help you choose the relevant operation and inspect the result.
For example, ToolBexa's Merge PDF combines files in selection order. Its PDF Password Remover uses a known password; it does not recover a forgotten opening password. Those are distinct tasks even though both start with a PDF upload.
Check how your file is processed
Before submitting a private file, read the service's actual processing and retention information. Some operations can run in a browser, while others upload documents for remote processing. A general “secure” label is less informative than a clear explanation of which input leaves your device.
On ToolBexa, core merge, split and rotation operations run locally in the browser. Compression, password protection and password removal use temporary server processing. Review the Privacy Policy for the full context, including server logs and external resources.
Read the current limits
Check accepted file types, upload size, page limits, batch limits, account requirements and any paid features on the provider's own website. Do not rely on an old comparison that promises permanent unlimited access or a fixed price.
Also consider device capacity. A browser-based workflow can still be limited by memory or file complexity. A server-based workflow can be unavailable during processing load or a service interruption. Keep the original and choose a tool with understandable errors and recovery steps.
Validate the downloaded document
Whatever brand you choose, open the result in an ordinary PDF reader. Confirm page order, readability, orientation and actual file size. If the output is encrypted, check that it requires the intended password. If it is unlocked, understand that the copy no longer has that encryption.
A successful processing message does not prove that an official portal will accept the document. Its own requirements remain the final reference for size, format and content.
Use official product information
Adobe Acrobat, Smallpdf and iLovePDF each publish an online merge tool page. Those pages are a better starting point for current product availability than unsupported claims about who is “best.” ToolBexa provides an additional workflow for everyday tasks, with processing notices and practical instructions on each tool page.
The mentioned brands belong to their respective owners. ToolBexa is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
